During my online search I was excited to see yourdepartment. I really feel that my qualifications and interests go with your prerequisites and hence I want to apply for the same. I have recently finished my Master of pharmacy in pharmaceutics from university of Calicut, bagged 93% in thesis work. I had worked (M Pham thesis) on development of solid lipid nanoparticle (SLN) of simvastatin and its application on Caco 2 and Jurkat cell lines. (Cancer cells).Here I studied the anticancer activity of statins, than theHMGCoAredutase mediated lipid lowering effect. The tools I used to characterize the solid lipid nano particles are UV- Vis Spectroscopy, HR TEM, AFM, DLS, DSC, RAMAN SPECTROSCOPY AND FTIR.etc. For cell line studies I also accustomed to the technique like MTT assay .I also conducted the Mathematical modeling, based studies of the Invitro release data’s, and little bit experienced with development of synergic nanoparticle.(done in department of science and technology lab, government of India). In my bachelors (B pharm thesis) I had worked on theantihelminthic and antimicrobial action of Ancardiam occidentale in selected worms and E coli and compared the effect with standard drug. There I found out anacardium false fruits have antihelminth, antibacterial action than albendazole. I have project experiences in development of microcapsules, microspheres, Trans Dermal Delivery System (TDDS), polymer nanoparticle, grafting of polymer and also handledAFM, RAMAN, TEM, and MICRO CT etc... I also have experience in the development of tablets, bilayered tablets, fast disintegrating tablets, buccal tablets etc. And handled ten station rotary apparatus (REMI), dissolution apparatus (SHIMADZU), disintegration apparatus, fiabrilator, hardness tester and equipments associated with tablet evaluation characterization. While I was a graduate student (B.pharm), I always think about lipophilic drugs. I feel it is a midfielder of drug delivery. I have done many experiments in order to increase its solubility, one of them was, I addeda drug (10mg) to 10ml of a solvent and then to 15ml respectively.Also I tried the same with 20mg of the drug. In the latter case there was an increase in its solubility, which means that solubility increases with concentration. I also felt that lipophilic drugs have got more surfactant property. This led me to study more about lipophilic drugs. My aim is to work with lipid based drug delivery system. I am highly interested to learn more about all aspects of lipophilic drugs like solubility, stability, crystallization problems etc. I also studied about liposome’s, solid dispersions, cyclodextrin inclusion complexes etc…during my practical’s I came across many limitations for each formulation. So I planned to include solid lipid nanoparticle in this concern and I dedicated 1 year to study the different molecular aspects of solid lipid nanoparticle. I studied different types of lipids, each and every individual components of solid lipid nanoparticle; its various processing conditions and collected more than 300 journals for the same. I prepared freeze dried solid lipid nanoparticle of simvastatin in M pharm thesis because it is highly lipophilic and pleiotropic. Then the concept of synergic solid lipid nanoparticle came to my mind, which is more advanced than solid lipid nanoparticle, so that we can formulate Two different nanoparticles with same lipid matrix and different drugs .The dose can be adjusted accordingly ,which is in turn related to therapeutic efficiency of drug. My ambition in future is to become a good researcher/scientist that gives me the opportunity to work into Pharmaceutical Sciences. I am highly interested in the research area of novel drug delivery system (NDDS), SLN, QANTUM DOTS, COPPER DOTS, NANOCLUSTERS and LDL, RNA, ENZYME OR AMINO ACID, and SCAFFOLD mediated drug delivery system, I am also interested to send my research proposal to you, and I feel it might be a patent work. I am born and bought up in a tribal village of western himadry, interested to expose my traditional medicine knowledge to the world. I also qualified GATE exam conducted By IIT madras with 96% in pharmaceutical sciences paper and got fellowship of 1.92 lacks throughout my M PHARM study.
