The Chancellor’s Foundation is established to generate and manage funds efficiently from alumni, friends of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), private companies, other foundations and the public. The Foundation is under the portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Industry and Community Partnerships).

- To initiate and launch new innovative mechanisms and instruments for an effective fund raising
- To set up a collaborative engagement with potential and existing partners so as to foster an everlasting relationship with the University

The Chancellor's Foundation was established:
- to receive donations and raise funds;
- to cooperate with Faculties/Institutes/Centres to generate and manage funds.
