UKM’s First Academic Entrepreneurship Carnival

Bangi, 23 May - Centre for Entrepeneurship and SEMs Development (UKM-CESMED) will be organised UKM’s First Academic Entrepreneurship Carnival which will be held from 28 – 30 May 2012 at Dewan Canselor Tun Abdul Razak (DECTAR).

This three days Carnival is to cap an extraordinary and exciting time at UKM in which for the first time we roll out a total of 20 units of academic entrepreneurship courses in a holistic and engaging way with the cooperation of Stevens Institute of Technology, from USA.

Some highlights of this carnival; the ‘Business pitching’ and product exhibition by the final year Senior Start-up (Usahaniaga Lanjutan), and Junior Start-up (Usahaniaga Asas) students and also the final submission for business simulation game for students in their first year Entrepreneurship (Asas Keusahawanan dan Inovasi).

This carnival also offers first year students to put into practice simple business transactions. The booths will be manned mainly by the first year students; selling anything from foods to cleaning services. There are also other events organized in this Carnival: Explorace, the Treasure hunt, futsal game competition, Funny Photo contest, Open Talent singing contest, sharing of experience of setting up business by Senior Startup students and many others.
