  1. Who and what is the function of UPAK?
    UPAK is an acronym for the Fundamental Studies of Engineering Unit. UPAK is a special unit founded to manage the activities of teaching mathematics subject to the undergraduates. The syllabus of every subject has been prepared following the syllabus of requirement of every department. Apart from that, UPAK has conducted a lot of cross-field research with the members of other departments.
  2. Is UPAK an academic department?
    No. UPAK is a unit under the administration of the Dean Office of the Engineering and Built Environment Faculty. Nonetheless, every matter pertinent to the management and administration of the office is assigned to be the responsibility of the Unit Coordinator.
  3. Who are the members of UPAK?
    Currently, UPAK is joined by 9 lecturers, a Mathematics teacher and three tutors.
  4. What are the subjects taught by the UPAK staff?
    The subjects taught are namely calculus vector, linear algebra, complex analysis, engineering statistics and numerical methods.
  5. Who can I contact if I were to deal with anyone on behalf of UPAK?
