Module Aims
The aims of this module are for students to have:
1. Knowledge of the principles of language and linguistic theories from the structural, psychological and social perspectives and an awareness of how this knowledge could contribute to language teaching and learning.
2. An understanding of the principles of curriculum development and how they are applied in specific language teaching situations.
3. An understanding of the various approaches to language teaching, testing and evaluation in the context of language development within the region.
