Introduction

The School of Media and Communication Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia will organize the International Conference on Media and Communication, in short MENTION2009 in October 2009. This biennial conference is a continuous academic discourse by the school. MENTION2009 provides a platform for local and international scholars to convene, discuss, and share new and different perspectives regarding issues and challenges in the field of communication, media studies, and humanities. MENTION2009 welcomes active participation from academics, practitioners and graduate students in media and communication as presenters and participants. This conference will be held at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
