Freshly graduated from Reading University, Professor Latiff was responsible in turning the young Pakdin into Malesian botany. This picture was taken during 1980 Pulau Pemanggil Expedition, organized by his first batch of students. I was only a second year student then, but my seniors want me to get close to nature.
